Benchtop Directional (45°/0° and 0°/45°) Geometry

Directional (45°/0° and 0°/45°) geometry spectrophotometers replicate the human visual response to colour and include applications where gloss and texture affect the colour measurement.

Benchtop Non-Contact Directional Geometry

Benchtop Sphere (d/8°) Geometry

Diffuse d/8° sphere spectrophotometers are recommended for transmittance colour and haze measurements of transparent liquid and solid samples, and colour measurements of opaque samples where it is desired to negate the effects of sample gloss and texture, as is necessary in the colour formulation process when determining the effect of pigment variations irrespective of surface characteristics.
